Community Outreach Program
Wall Landscape Services doesn't only like to do business with local communities and neighbors but they also like to give back to the community. Every year we have numerous sponsorships including Parsippany Elks Lodge Golf Outing, NJ Special Olympics, numerous awareness walks, and other local clubs. We also like to donate our time during the year to help out on projects in the area that wouldn't of been able to be completed without our expertise and willing to give back to the community.

Denville Elementary School Courtyard:
We were contacted by the Denville Board of Education to help with the installation and guidance in the creation of a courtyard at an elementary school in Denville, NJ. With the help our many very giving parents, board of education members, teachers, and even some students we spent a whole weekend completing this project in April 2012. The project consisted of a pathway with students, families, & teachers name engraved in bricks, a focal point area where students could sit and get taught lessons in the courtyard, and re-grading the area with topsoil and the installation of sod so the students would have a nice soft area to play on and learn on during the school year. |
Parsippany Middle School Flag Pole Courtyard:
We were contacted by a member of the teaching staff of a middle school in Parsippany, NJ. The original discussion was based on requiring the need for an estimate to design and build a focal point area around a flag pole on the property that could be used during the school year by students and faculty members. We designed and installed the project within the budget and were able to donate our time and expertise with helping on this project. We filled the area with low maintenance perennials which would give the area color all seasons, low maintenance brick pavers, and engraved stones which symbolize the importance of the flag pole and what it stands for. |
Parsippany 9-11 Memorial:
We were contacted by a member of a local Parsippany volunteer government agency to help design and build an area in which a piece of 9-11 steel could be placed. We designed the area and then spent a few days donating our time and machinery installing the area. The area in the center has a flag pole, around the flag pole has a circle with local area residents who perished on 9-11, then a sitting wall with a column holding the 9-11 steel, and a paver entranceway coming from the building. |
Chatham Township Elementary School Entranceway:
Wall Landscaping was contacted by a member of an elementary school in Chatham, NJ. A teaching staff member had a plan which included cleaning up the entire front of the school, removing overgrown shrubs, and weeds. The new landscaping provided made for a much warmer entranceway leading to the school. The services included removal of all the shrubs & trees; installation of all new foundation plantings with weed barriers & mulch; and installation of creative stepping stones that the students made during art classes. Overall the front of the school is now a lot more open and a lot cleaner which keeps the entire school looking great and teachers, parents, and students happy. |
Parsippany Hills High School Beautification Project:
Cindy Stavrou, PTSA President, presented Tommy Wall, Wall Landscaping with a plaque showing the appreciation and thanks on behalf of Parsippany Hills High School Administration for the work on the beautification project recently completed at the school. The PHHS PTSA with the help of principal Dr. Matt Thompson and administrators, PTSA decided to put its efforts outside with Phase 1 of the beautification project. Through difficult times, they were able to meet with Tommy Wall of Wall Landscaping, a former student of PHHS, who found it in his heart to donate his services to the beautification project. Tom and Tyler of Cerbos Garden Center worked out all the details and planning. They came up with a plan including over 100 plantings, including yuccas, boxwoods, castle spine holly, various grasses, junipers, barberry, and over five yards of riverbed stone. The mulch was donated from the board of education. |
If you or anyone you know has or needs help with a local community project or volunteer work please contact Tommy directly at [email protected] or (862) 684-2215 since we are constantly looking for ways to give back to local areas.
